The city has become more accessible compared to the past, with extended major roads and a bigger airport. Residential areas and the business district have been increased in size significantly. Notably, the population of the city is ten times larger than it was in the past.
In 1950, the central area of the city was occupied by residential areas and the business district, near which the bridge was situated, along with government building. Furthermore, the airport was located on the eastern side and the river ran from west to east across the southern part of the city. Additionally, there were major roads, separating the city into four different parts.
Currently, the area has changed significantly. One of the noticeable changes was the extension of the residential areas, occupying almost half of the city. The river has changed into a lake while the direction remained intact. A new government building has been added to the southern side, near which an additional road has been laid. The airport has become considerably larger and is located immediately east of the new dam. The population increased tenfold, from 20,000 to 200,000.
