The map illustrates a park in the year 1920, when it was opened, and nowadays. Overall, it is immediately apparent that the main locations of the park, such as the stage for musicians and fountain, were renewed or replaced, with addition of new locations to the territory.
To begin, the Grange Park in 1920 was surrounded by rose garden and seats for visitors, with the fountain located in the middle of it. There was also the musician stage to the left of it and on the opposite side, closer to the northern entrance, was placed a pond for water plants. One more location was a glasshouse to the left of the southern entrance.
In the subsequent years, as we can observe now, the fountain was removed and replaced with the rose garden, and the seats were moved to the middle of the park as well, placed around the garden. Instead of the pond for water plants, there is now a children’s playground, with a new café beside it and the water feature opposite to it, exactly where the glasshouse was before. The stage for musicians experienced an improvement and was turned into a whole amphitheater for concerts.
