The two layouts show the changes that have taken place to Grange Park over more than a century.
The most noticeable change from the last design to the existing plan is that modern facilities have been included, which have replaced some natural features. The two entrances remain, and a third entrance for car users has been constructed.
Adjacent to the entrance of Arnold Revenue on the right side, the rose garden has been replaced by a cafe. In the top left corner, the erstwhile pond for watering plants has been substituted by by children’s play area. The glass house has been repurposed as water feature. The elimination of the fountain in the center of the park has paved the way for a rose garden and seats around it.
On the top left side of the park, the rose garden is remained in its space, but the rose garden on the bottom, seats, and the stage for musicians have been substituted by an amphitheater for concerts.
