The drawing demonstrates two different designs of the public park named Grange Park, located in Arnold avenue, from the first appearance in 1920 to the present.
A closer look at the map reveals the fact that some facilities in the park have been renovated to offer people more opportunities than it used to have, but several of them remain stable.
It can be seen that in 1920, there were five seats and three rose gardens placed around Grange Park but now it has been removed, only keeping one garden in the northwest. Furthermore, the area of the stage for musicians was also used to build an amphitheatre for concerts. Additionally, in the northeast, the rose garden and Pond for water plants have been replaced by the café and the children’s play area. Moreover, opposite the café and children’s playground is the water feature, which used to be a glasshouse in the past. Besides, the two entrances stay the same but they have included a new way to the underground car park at the right corner. Finally, in the middle, there used to be a fountain but now it is filled with a rose garden covered around four seats.
