The changes between a public park named Grange Park in 1920, when it first opened, and today are depicted in the two maps. Overall, the park was renovated to offer people more facilities than they used to have decades ago such as a cafe, theatre, playground and parking.
The 1920 layout of Grange Park features a stage for musicians in the west, flanked by two rose gardens and four seating areas positioned at the corners. In the central part of the park, two entrances lead to the centre, where a fountain is located. A glasshouse and additional seating are situated in the southeast, while a pond for aquatic plants and another rose garden occupy the northeast area.
At present time, the park looks different with most of its old features removed for new recreational spaces. In the western section, the flower garden and all lounging areas on the lower level have been removed to make room for an amphitheatre. In the central area, a rose garden has been installed, surrounded by chairs. Additionally, new amenities such as a coffee shop, a playground, a water feature, and a parking area have been added. Only the rose garden near the northwest corner has remained unchanged.
