In 1920, Grange Park had a simple layout with a fountain in the middle and a number of rose gardens located in three corners of the park. Numerous seats were placed around the park, and a stage for musicians was in the bottom left corner. A glasshouse was situated near Eldon Street, and a pond for water plants was in the top right corner.
Today, Grange Park has undergone substantial changes. The once-central fountain has been replaced by a rose garden, now the park’s undisputed focal point. Throughout the past decade, the stage for musicians has been transformed into an amphitheater for concerts, offering a more formal performance space. A children’s play area has been added, replacing the pond. A new water feature has been installed, along with an entrance to an underground car park, enhancing accessibility.
