The maps demonstrate two student rooms in an Australian university, which cost 350$/week for two people and 200$/week for one person.
Overall, because the price of these rooms is quite difference, scale and amenities as well in room for two people was a higher than one person. Especially, there is a separated area for two students, a big table is added in the room for two guys. Moreover, some kitchen devices is relocated, but others zones nearly remains unchanged.
In terms of the room for two people. The vertical and horizontal area of this room is quite large, at 6 meters and 4 meters, respectively. There is a bathroom situated on the top left, a wall is placed to separate relaxing and study area with the bathroom, a bookshelf is also added right next to it. A vertical bed is equipped on the top right with windows next to it, between the bed and the bookshelf is a desk. On the bottom left side of the room, kitchen devices is placed vertically, including a sink, stove and microwave. A big table is located in front of those devices with a small television is also added opposite the table, at the bottom left, follow by a desk and horizontal bed, which is separated with the upper area by two big cupboards.
Regarding the single room, the bathroom, wall, desk and windows are positioned similarly with the room for two students, while the bookshelf isn’t available. Although the horizontal stretch remains unchanged, the vertical area is minimized to 2.5 meters, so the vertical bed accounts for entire left side of the room. The kitchen area in this room is placed horizontally and a television located in the bottom middle of the room.
