The map demonstrates the various developments in infrastructure of a farm in 1950 and compares its outline to the current site. Overall, several amenities like parkings, roads, holiday cottages, et cetera, have been added to accommodate the increase in urbanisation as well as tourism. Also, the current site now has many different technological advancements and subsequent changes.
Starting with the addition of a farm shop and the adjacent parking in the north-west region, which are right next to the main road. Alongside the small parking area, a new camping field has been set up with a few camping tents, where the sheep used to reside. In the north-west area of the farm an extensive range of solar panels have been installed to provide energy for the entire farm facilities as well as functions. Reducing the size and changing the position, a number of holiday cottages are also evident in its place in the west direction.
Right across the cottages, is another parking area for guests and tourists. The previous uneven tracks have now been replaced with a smooth network of roads, which connect all these amenities of the site with the barn and other areas. It is also noticed that there has not been any significant change to the farmhouse, areas for vegetables and soft fruits and lastly, the chickens’ ground.
