The two maps give information about how Beachwood farm has been changed over a period of 75 years.
Overall, the farm has experienced significant infrastructural changes with the creation of new facilities.
In 1950, the farm was located between trackway and the Long River. The river started at the fruit trees zone and ended at the barn. The highway crossed the river northwest of the corner. On the left side of the farm, there were fruit trees, soft fruits and vegetables fields. The barn was located at the corner where the track crossed the river. The chicken field was situated in the southeast of farm. The farmhouse was upstairs from chicken area, just behind the barn. The sheep field was upstairs from the long trackway.
However, the Beachwood farm has changed significantly, especially in sheep zone, as of today. The track way has been replaced with a modern road that cars can use. The barn has been placed in the center of the farm, its old location has been converted into large holiday cottages for visitors. A farm shop has been added in fruit trees zone, just at the entrance from the road. Theere have been significant changes on north side of the map. The parking areas for guests have been located on two sides, one is at corner where the highway crosses the local road, the other is opposite the holiday sleeping area. Solar panels have been added, just behind the east parking zone. A camping field and a tree of some kind have been placed in the middle of the path, between the two parking areas.
