Overall, among the five ages groups surveyed, UK tourists aged from fifty-four were consistently predominant in both years, although older generation slightly decreased.
As can be seen in the chart, there was an upward tendency in 16-24 years and 55 years. Both two ages dramatically jumped by approximately 10%. Besides, the percentage of teenangers who were in 0-15 years old rose sightly from 10% to 12%, respectively in 1983 an 2003.
By constrast, the most number of visitors who were in 35-54 years old dropped rapidly almost two third in 2003, at 35%. Similarly, the rate of 25-34 years fell significantly from 20% in 1983 to 12% in 2003.
