Similarly, the percentage of British people aged 16-24 also experienced a noticeable increase, from just 4% in 1983 to 15% in 2003. Meanwhile, the figure for British prople visited Spain aged 0-15 also increased slightly from 10% to 12% between 1983 and 2003.
The percentage of British people aged 25-34 visited Spain witnessed a significant decline during the research period, from 20% in 1983 to 12% in 2003. Meanwhile, although the proportion of British people visited Spain aged 35-54 dropped from 50% in 1983 to 35% in 2003, it still the highest figure in all 5 groups.
