The table shows the figures for police budget from different sources in 2017 and 2018 and the chart gives the information about how the money was spent.
It is clear that the national government is by far the most important source of the police budget in both years. It is also noticeable that the proportion of money spent on salaries is highest over the 2 years.
Between 2017 and 2018, the figure for total police budget rose from 304.7 to 318.6m and the similar trends could be seen in three sources categories. The money from local taxes rosed significantly by about 10m from 91.2m in 2017 to 102.3m in 2018, while those from national government and other sources saw a slight increase from 175.5m to 177.8m and from 38 to 38.5 m respectively.
The proportion of salaries declined from 75% to 69% while the percentage of technology rosed from 8% to 14%, and buildings and transport remained the same figure at 17%.
