Overall, almost every mode of travel had increased their average distance, except walking, bicycle and local bus. Car have the highest common length travelled per person per year, while the lowest is taxi.
With regards to the distance travelled by car, it began at 3199 miles in 2001, while people who used train or walking had over 250 miles in 2001. Bicyclists rode 51 miles as an average distance in that year, while individuals who used local distance buses had 54.
On the other hand, the length rode by car increased by 1607 miles and the usual distance of train uplifted by 127 miles in 2006, while those walked decreased their normal route by 18 miles. In addition, bicyclists dropped their average distance to 41 miles in 2006, however, people who travelled in local distance buses rose their average length to 124 miles.
