The table depicts the amount of monthly revenues for Australian employees in five different sectors, namely healthcare, education, construction, information technology, and retail between 2010 and 2020. Overall, there were an increase of salaries in the span of 10 years in all industries.
In 2010, employees in technologies field had the most monthly salaries on average, reaching 4,800 USD followed by healthcare with 600 USD less. Both workers in education and construction sectors generated more than 3,500 USD monthly while retailers did not reached 3,000 each month.
After 10 years, all five workfields experienced an increase in revenue per-month though the income level remained the same. Technology companies were able to give their employees for more than 6,000 USD per month, making them having the most increased salaries between all five industries. In the other hand, retail workers had the least salary growth with only 400 USD increase, which in total only reached 3,300 USD in monthly basis.
