The graph illustrates the recorded growth of global delivery, measured in billion tons/km, from 2010 to 2050, and the results in carbon footprint, projected in million tons.
Overall, four main types of transport demonstrated developing percentages and so as CO2 emissions. Air transport was the least common, while sea transport had the highest volume. In term of carbon emissions, normal road occupied the highest volume and railway was the lowest.
In commence with, although travelling by plane was 191 in 2010 and 1111 in 2050, it had the highest growth rate at 482%. In contrast, travelling in the ocean had over 60,000 in 2010 and 256433 in 2050, it had the lowest recorded rate at 327%. Moreover, delivery in land had the largest growth number , from 6,388 to 30,945, about 24,000 numbers. In total, sea occupied a lare number of volumw, over 60,000; whereas, summerized number was nearly 80,000.
Regarding carbon footprint, the numbers of air road was relatively low, with 150 in 2010 and 767 in 2050. However, it had the highest growth ratio at 411%. Travelling in land comprised a lower volume than travelling in the ocean. Nevertheless, carbon emissions in land was relatively twice those in the ocean, at 4,519 and approximately 2,600 in 2050
