The given maps demonstrate changes with are related to building of new touristic facilities in Paradise island. The first map represents the past features, the second map shows a present view.
Overall, some island facilities constructions are replaced with a wide selection of touristic spots and deforestation takes place due to setting up new buildings. However, some natural areas remain unchanged.
As it clearly seen, the island in the past had only one scientific research center, whereas a variety of facilities is presented. Firstly, scientific research center was replaced by huge hotel complex and swimming pool is added. Secondly, an open restaurant is designed in the middle of a map. Additionally, a BBQ area is constructed in the south-eastern part of a map. Moreover, a café is located on the southern side of a map. A pier was reconstructed and now it is bigger in comparison with the pier in the past. In addition, the boat was demolished and a cruise ship is put on its place. In the north-eastern part of a map a new scenic lookout is added. A new cycle path is added on the outskirts of an island and goes around all borders. However, all trees were cut down to have more space for many facilities.
Several natural places remained unchanged. For example, a natural spring has the same place on a map at the moment. It is clearly seen that a beach in the north-western part isn’t changed, while swimming is permitted for tourist now. In addition, rocks have the same location to the east of a map.
