The maps illustrate changes in a locality called Dalton between 1815 to 2015. Overall, there was a significant change in Dalton settlement they changed some of the place and built new places replacing most in the Dalton Forest and they built new buildings.
In 1815, in Dalton town most of the part were Dalton Forest, and at the bottom of the map it has a river called River Dal, and river crossed in the middle of the map. On the right side of the map, it was some trees and nearby it had two houses. In the top right corner, it was two buildings and just below it was a pasture. It was grazing field which cows can walk and next to the grazing land was Hall Farm.
By 2015, municipality showed a dramatically transformation from like a forest to the modern city. On the left side of the map, in the Dalton industrial zones replaced Dalton Forest, also they build some sectors and nearby the river they were built a hospital. On the right side of the map, the Dalton made a space for buildings, and houses replaced Hall Farm, also grazing field. Just above they built a new school, next to the school they remained some trees. In addition, the Hotel and some accommodations replaced pasture. At the bottom of the map, locality built airport under the bridge.
