The maps compare the layout of a small park in 1980 with its current appearance. Overall, the park has undergone a substantial transformation from a relatively simple, enclosed green space into a more open and multifunctional recreational area. While the pond has been preserved as the park’s central feature, the surrounding infrastructure and land use have been extensively reorganized, with new leisure facilities replacing several original elements.
In 1980, the park was entirely enclosed by a wall and could be accessed through two gates located on the western and southern sides. A winding pathway ran through the site, engulfing a pond situated slightly to the west of the centre. Three benches were positioned around this water feature. The eastern side of the park was dominated by a dense cluster of trees, whereas two flower gardens occupied the south-western and south-eastern corners respectively.
At present, the wall and gates have been removed, creating a more open environment. The former curved path has been replaced by a network of straight paths that divide the park into distinct zones. Although the pond remains in its original location and continues to be surrounded by benches, the rest of the park has changed considerably. The flower beds have disappeared entirely; the one in the south-east has given way to a play area for children, while the south-western garden has been converted into a section containing several bushes. In the north-eastern part of the park, some trees have been retained, but the area now also accommodates picnic tables and a barbecue facility, providing visitors with enhanced opportunities for outdoor recreation.
