Dear Priyanka,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to tell you about my recent study abroad experience. It was in Germany, where I completed my Engineering thesis for my MSc. in Engineering degree, and lasted for one year. It was a wonderful experience because I not only completed my thesis successfully but also learned many things about German society, culture and history. I’m going to share a few of them with you.

Firstly, Germans are very punctual and take their appointments seriously. Next, I visited a lot of museums and historical places, which shows how serious they are about preserving their history. I also found the whole country neat and clean. However, that doesn’t mean that they’re robotic; there are plenty of opportunities for recreational activities, along with beautiful landscapes. Finally, Oktoberfest and football showed me their passion and festive spirit.

In addition, the country is well known for its engineering ingenuity. Supports came naturally- from industrial visit to lab work, and from theoretical analysis to casual discussions with fellow students and professors.

It’s time to wrap up. I really appreciate that you asked about my experience, and I hope that it will help you make your decision.
