The images outline the layout of a shopping center called Happy Valley in between 1982 and 2012.
From an overall perspective, the shopping center became more built-up with cutting-edge amenities. Some facilities relocated, while others were not subject to change.
Looking at the outline in 1982, the center was surrounded by plants, and a lake could be found in the north-west side of it. From a road leading to an entrance which was located outside, customers could directly go to a lobby area. There were a coffee shop and toilets in the north and south sides of the lobby, respectively. In the middle of the building there was an entertainment area, while sports store, electronics store and furniture store could be found in the right, located in order: from south-east to north east. A food store was located between tge coffee shop and sports store, an elevator, which went up to the second floor, was flanked by the toilets and furniture store.
By 2012, the center developed significantly. The road which led to the entrance was demolished and some of the plants were chopped down in order to build a new parking lot, and the entrance was relocated inside. A furniture retail was constructed at the expense of the lake, while the food store was altered to a place where furniture store was located. In an area where the food store was used to be sports and electronics stores were moved. Three new themed restaurants were built behind the food store, the entertainment area, toilets and the elevator, on the other hand, remained unchanged.
