The given maps illustrate the development of Happy Valey Shopping Center over the period of 40 years, from 1982 to 2012.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the center building has expanded to the west direction to allow some rearrangement inside the building with an additional of parking lot facility outside the building.
In 1982, there were a coffee shop, food store, sport center, electronic store, and furniture store inside the shopping area with several facilities, such as elevator, toilet, entertainment and lobby area. The entrance of the building was built on the left side which had a road from the left side directed to it. Additionally, the main building and a lake, which was located to the left side, were surrounded with a plenty of trees.
After a renovation in 2012, the building was half-extended to the east side, to allow for new construction of furniture retail by removing the lake. Although toilets, elevators, and entertainment area were remained the same, there were repositions of several facilities, including replacing the sports and electronic stores from the right side to the top side at the expense of coffee shop. In this building, the furniture store was knocked down and overtaken by food store, which was previously located in the top side of the building. Moreover, the road, which was initially run to the left side, was demolished to allow for a construction of parking lot to the left bottom side of the building
