The provided two maps illustrate the progression and organization of a happy valley shopping mall under 30 years from the year 1982 to2012.
As is observed, the shopping mall witnessed many changes .It is noticeable that plenty of facilities were introduced in the shopping mall. Additionally, outside the mall, a parking lot was built and a big furniture retail was added inside the shopping mall where there used to be a lake in previous years.
Looking at the map of 1982, the shopping mall was small as compared to the renovated mall. A big entertainment area was located in the middle of the mall. In the lower left corner, there was a coffee shop. Next to it there was a lobby area which was connected with the entrance. There were toilets on the right side of the entrance. Aside toilets there was a elevator to second floor.. Meanwhile opposite to the entrance, there were three apartments including sports store, electric store and a furniture store. The shopping mall had many trees around it and also a beautiful lake. A path was alsp constructed connecting to the lobby.
Looking at the map after thirty years , the shopping center experienced a lot of changes . The lake as well as the path were completely demolished and replaced by a large furniture store and a parking lot in the bottom left hand corner. Although the lobby area was removed, the entrance remained in the same location. On the right side of entrance, the toilet remained same whereas in the right side the food store was replaced by sports store and electric store. Looking in the opposite of the entrance the stores were completely removed and themed resturants were introduced. Meanwhile the food store was replaced to the upper right corner.
