The diagram shows how a company distributes natural gas to customers.
Overall, natural gas comes from various sources and stored underground before being transported to customers. The gas goes through different storages and delivering by many types of transport.
First, gas is taken from a gas well and sent to a gas plant. At the same time, oil from an oil well goes to a refinery. In addition, some gas is imported from other places. All these providers are connected to the main underground storage, where the gas is collected.
After thatt, the gas is moving through pipelines to regional storage facilities. Then, it is transporting by 40,000-litre tankers and then by 24,000-litre wagons. Later, the gas is stored in retail storage tanks, which can hold up to 120,000 litres.
Finally, 12,000-litre delivery trucks transport the gas from retail storage to retail customers. As a result, natural gas reaches consumers after passing through several stages of storage and transportation.
