Overall, it is evident that more people started to attend the Museum after the renovation. In addition, a more positive impression prevailed about the Museum once the changes were implemented.
To begin with, there were 74,000 of people who visited the Ashdown Museum during the year before the refurbishment. Nevertheless, the numbers increased significantly to 92,000 of attendants after the renovation.
Following this, two surveys were conducted. Before the changes, almost one half of individuals (40%) was dissatisfied with the Museum. Moreover, 10% of interviewees were very dissatisfied with their experience. Only a minority of people were satisfied with the Ashdown Museum; the figure accounted for 15%. Nonetheless, after the renovation at the Museum, 40% of interviewees expressed their satisfaction with the Museum. The number of dissatisfied people dropped significantly to 15%, and the number of those who were very dissatisfied decreased sharply to 5%. The proportion of those who were very satisfied almost doubled to 35%.
