The line chart illustrates the trends of energy usage figures for petrol, coal, and natural gas over the period from 1980 to 2030.
Overall, it is evident that three types of energy showed completely different trends. Whereas petrol experienced steady growth throughout the period, the other two energies showed fluctuating or lower-level patterns.
In terms of petrol, the period for this energy witnessed a surge in its figures, rocketing from 1980 to a peak in 2030. Specifically, after starting in the first year, the number continued to climb significantly, ending at the highest point in the chart.
Compared to petrol, the trends for the other two energies were unstable. As for natural gas, despite being at the bottom phase in 1980 (which was the lowest point of all energy types), it is projected to increase sharply and follow the number for coal. Meanwhile, although the period for coal was volatile in the early stages, afterward, the number is expected to rise slightly.
