I am writing this formally to express my interest in the post of Quality Assurance Manager, which is currently vacant in the food department of the university.

First of all, I would like to apologize, as it has been a long time since I have visited your office to discuss my progress regarding my educational courses and professional commitments. Nevertheless, I came to your cubicle yesterday, but I found you were away for a meeting. I was then supposed to write to you.

You would not believe it, but I have passed human psychology this year with flying colors, after failing it thrice previously. I am now promoted to the last semester of Business Administration at Loren Brusque University, while giving mathematics tuitions to students online.

As you know, I took a gap year after A levels, before commencing my professional degree. During that year, I worked at a renowned food chain in Australia as an intern in the Quality Assurance Department. I am well-versed in the ins and outs of this department, as I have learned a lot under the supervision of Mr. Aqash – Quality Assurance Manager at the huge fortune company in 2020. I have reflected upon the job description, and I am convinced that the role best suits me.
