Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is John Smith, and I am a new employee of your company, actually I am an electrical engineer. I am writing this letter regarding a number of circumstance, because of which I won’t be able to start my work in time.

As you know I came for working to United States by the special visa, according to this I have to registered in an apartment in three days after arriving. But still now I have difficulties with accommodation, because there are no available flats in nearest district to my work place. I did not expect that situation like this may happen.

I believed that I am fully ready to start working after all formalities, in this case I booked an apartment via Internet when I was in my Motherland – Uzbekistan. Unfortunately, I was deceived by scammers, who are created a fake website for deceiving people through virtual society. That is how I lost four hundred dollars on non-existed flat.

I feel guilty before you, and I know that is no your business with my problems, but if you will give me a permission I will get to work after two days.
