Dear Mila,

I’m writing to ask you to do me a favour and take care of my home while I’m gone for a week.

Unfortunately, I just found out that my mother is sick and urgently needs my help, so I have to leave Vancouver to Tehran for about a week. I don’t have enough time to find someone to keep my cats. This is why they are my main concern right now.

I know that it’s a lot to ask, but the only thing that you need to do is to feed the cats and refresh the water in the bowl every day. I’ll give you my spare keys.

In return, I promise to bring you some high quality saffron from Iran and I’ll pay you 10 dollars a day. I’m sure it won’t take more than half an hours of your time each day.
