Hi steve

Peter birthday is coming soon and my idea is to organize a birthday party for him.

I started doing the preparation but I got some problem. I know you made a party for john and this is why Im asking you to help me. I also asked Dave to help me and he does the music. He bought a microphone and two large loudspeakers.

I will be very happy if you help me to decorate the whole room. You will need to purchase ballons and a birthday cake. If you have any advice please tell me because it can help me a lot. Of course you have to buy a gift for Peter.

I’m going to buy some snacks and apple, orange juice. I alo reserved a huge place and nearby there is a football pitch.

Thanks for your help I appreciate it.

Have a nice day

Task Response

5
The letter attempts to address the task but includes irrelevant details and lacks clarity in some areas. The request for help is present, but the reasons for choosing Steve for the task and the deadline are not clearly defined. To improve, focus on directly addressing each point in the task instructions with specific and relevant information. Ensure a clear and logical flow of ideas. The letter falls short of the required 150 words.

Coherence & Cohesion

5
The letter's organization could be improved for better clarity. Consider using more explicit transitions between ideas and ensuring each paragraph focuses on a single aspect of the party planning. For example, dedicate a paragraph solely to the task you're assigning Steve, another to why you chose him, and another to deadlines and coordination. This will make the letter easier to follow.

Lexical Resource

5
The vocabulary used is quite basic. To enhance your lexical resource, try incorporating more specific and varied words related to party planning and delegation. For instance, instead of 'decorate the whole room,' you could say 'oversee the venue's decoration.' Also, replace 'I got some problem' with 'I've encountered some challenges.' Boost vocabulary complexity to elevate the overall score.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

5
The letter contains several grammatical errors that affect clarity. Focus on using correct verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and article usage. For example, 'Peter birthday is coming soon' should be 'Peter's birthday is coming soon,' and 'I started doing the preparation but I got some problem' could be 'I started the preparations but have encountered some challenges.' Proofreading carefully will help catch these errors.
