Hey Raj,

Hope you’re doing good, man. Listen, I’ve got some news – we’re throwing a surprise birthday party for Smith! Ten years of friendship and he still has no clue we’re planning something big for him.

I’ve already booked the hall and dinner at Mareena Hotel. The only problem is I’ll reach the place just before the party starts because of some last-minute work stuff. So I seriously need you to handle things until I get there.

First thing – can you call up all our old college gang and make sure they show up? I’ve only managed to talk to the ones who live near me.

Also, please keep an eye on the food and drinks. The hotel will take care of everything, but it’d be great if you supervise a bit. Add any extra dishes you feel will hype up the party – you know what Smith loves better than anyone.

The party’s on 29th October at 8 PM at Mareena Hotel in New Delhi. Really hope you’re free because I can’t pull this off without you.
