Dear Mark,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m writing to tell you that I’m planning a short weekend trip to Lakewood Resort next month, and I would really love for you to join me. It’s a beautiful lakeside spot just two hours from the city, and I thought it would be the perfect place for us to relax and unwind.

The plan is to leave early on Saturday morning and spend most of the day exploring the hiking trails around the lake. In the evening, we can have a barbecue by the water and enjoy the sunset. On Sunday, I’m hoping to rent kayaks so we can paddle along the shoreline before heading back in the afternoon. The whole weekend is meant to be simple, peaceful, and a much-needed break from our busy routines.

I would be really happy if you could come along. Please let me know if you’re free that weekend so I can book the cabin accordingly.
