Dear Sir,

I am writing to request an extension for the project that was due last Friday at 11:59 PM.

My name is Anika, and I am in section B of the Computer Systems Technician Networking course. Last week’s lecture focused on configuration, and we were assigned a project that needed to be submitted by Friday night. I completed 70% of the project by Thursday night, but I had yet to finish the conclusion, which I planned to do on Friday.

Unfortunately, due to an emergency, I had to leave for the hospital early Friday morning, which prevented me from finalizing my assignment. Additionally, we had a Diwali celebration scheduled for Friday evening, further complicating my ability to meet the deadline. As a result, I missed the project submission deadline.

I kindly request an extension to submit my assignment. As you know, this project is crucial for the final exam, as it accounts for 30% of my overall grade. I would greatly appreciate any consideration you could provide.
