Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my college roommate, who is making my stay in the university hostel difficult. I cannot concentrate on my studies as I find him unbearable to live. I am hoping that you allow me to shift into another vacant room.

From last two years, I am residing in the hostel, I haven’t faced any complications while staying. My previous housemates are immensely friendly and cooperative in nature. However, my current roommate is making this a lot more difficult for me to stay. He is a chronic smoker and have plethora of friends which keep on visiting our area. This cause numerous inconvenience for me as I am unable to focus on my studies.

As a solution to this issue, I would be grateful if you can arrange a various place for me. I would rather prefer single area with attached washroom, a small kitchen and a balcony. So, that I can concentrate in my work.
