Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to draw your attention to a serious environmental issue at a nearby beach.

Last Friday, I was taking my summer holiday at Ras El-Bar beach with my family, when I saw a huge amount of trash in the sea and on the offshore. This is because a large number of visitors threw their food remnants and plastic bags on the beach, polluting the venue.

I was really frustrated due to these misconducts, because these bad behaviors not only ruin the beauty of the coastal destination but also endanger marine lives. For instance, recently, a large number of domestic turtles drastically declined due to plastics and pollution.

Therefore, strict rules must be taken to address this problem. From my perspective, one viable solution is to impose a big fine to punish anyone who throws rubbish carelessly on the beach. Moreover, launching campaigns to raise public awareness towards these problems will be a wise strategy.

I hope this matter will be taken seriously and resolved soon.
