Dear John,
I think learning how to drive is a wonderful idea. I can give you some advice to make sure you ace your practical driving test!
Having a driver’s license can mean being more independent. You don’t have to rely on other people to take you to places. You can just drive yourself to work or to any appointments, if needed. Also, public transport is not exactly reliable. Just like your experience in utilising trains, they are often late on schedule which then caused you to be late to school.
I will recommend trying Sky Driving School. They have a driving instructor named Steve. His phone number is 045768574. He taught me how to pass my driving test two years ago and he was very patient with me. He also has a dual-control car to ensure that he can access the brake if needed during your practice.
I’m sure you will be okay. Just keep in mind to drive with confident. If you are nervous, you will not be able to drive well.
If you are still concerned about driving, just give me a call tomorrow after work and we can practice together.
Yours truly,
Amelia
