The diagram illustrates the process of transforming a specific type of coal into electricity.
Overall, the whole process comprises of a total of eight steps, starting from the collection of coal from mines, eventually to the production of electricity, which is used in different infrastructures.
The procedure starts with the collection of coal from mines, followed by the crushing stage, which turns coal into smaller pieces. The crushed coal is then transported to be the material for gasifier operation. With the catalyst of heat, gas is produced from the gasifier.
Afterwards, the newly produced gas goes into the cooling machine, which emits waste heat as an excessive product of the cooling process. The gas, after being cooled, is cleaned using another machine. Once being cleaned, the gas is now ready to fuel the gas power plant for the production of electricity. There is also waste heat emission as part of the electricity producing process. Electricity is then connected to serve a variety of purposes in human life, ranging from industrial to household ones, becoming an indispensable part of humans’ modern life.
