Dear [Neighbour’s Name],

I hope you are well. I am writing to politely raise a small issue regarding your dog, which is usually kept in the garden.

Over the past few weeks, the dog has been barking quite loudly during the night. While this was not a major problem for us before, the situation has recently changed. We are currently hosting some relatives who have a newborn baby, and the noise has been disturbing the baby’s sleep, which is understandably difficult for the whole family.

I completely understand that looking after a pet can be challenging, especially in terms of hygiene and daily care. However, I was wondering if it would be possible for you to keep the dog indoors at night for the next few weeks while our guests are staying with us. I believe this would greatly reduce the noise and help us manage the situation more comfortably.

I would really appreciate your understanding and consideration. Please let me know if this would be possible.
