It is a controversial topic that has been in our communities so far, with different perspectives from different people, and there is an argument that earning attractive pay-out is prioritized over the contentment of the job itself. I totally disagree with this statement and will elaborate more details in the latter part of this essay.
To begin with, fundamentally, in daily work routines, job satisfaction is essential as a way of achievement, happiness in the working environment, and progress in the professional field. Those who possess gratification in the job can easily attain their elation and like the job that they have been aiming for. To give an example, poets who love to write poems have a vigorous passion for their career and existence in art, and they simply live in their own way, and never follow any monetary benefits.
In addition, hunting or selecting a job in order to get a huge salary intentionally does not lead to fantastic feelings and there are no incremental changes in capabilities although it might seem a temporary solution for financial trauma. To share my own experience, I quit my first job in 2012 because I was dying for my dream job even though the pay was undeniable. This job was actually a comfort zone, however, I felt that it might be a path to demotivation and a lack of learning sources at work as well.
In conclusion, opting for a road that earns more salary is gumption for a perfect living standard but it should not be fulfilled the real meaning of life. I undoubtedly believe that true satisfaction comes from insight, not from possessions that can be bought.
