Advertisements for snacks and playthings have an enormous influence on children and their parents. So, advertisements to children need to be prohibited. I completely agree with this opinion because children may want to buy harmful things after seeing advertisements, and this impacts their logic badly.
First of all, I believe that advertisements for snacks and toys impact children in various ways. Toy guns and weapons are examples of things children may want to buy after seeing advertisements. This might lead to bad character traits, such as those of terrorists and invaders, and as adults, they may want to be like these people. For instance, some children have laptops and mobile phones for playing shooting games, and they may want to buy guns after seeing advertisements and want to shoot others. As a result, they may cause harm to someone by playing with toys like video games in real life.
In addition, many children see advertisements for snacks. Their appetites are whetted by watching advertisement. This leads them to buy unhealthy snacks that they would not have bought before seeing the advertisement. Most of these snacks are harmful, and this has been recognized by healthcare organizations. However, children and their parents purchase these snacks even though they are bad. These are considered fake dopamine because everyone wants to consume them after eating them, and they want to eat them again. Actually, all of this leads to an unhealthy lifestyle. For example, many children become obese from eating snacks, and as a result, they experience health problems such as concerns, diabetes, and being overweight.
To sum up, watching advertisements should be absolutely banned because it causes distress in many families. Parents should teach children about true advertisements instead of incorrect advertisements for dangerous toys and unhealthy snacks.
