Recent years have documented the increasing severity of drug abuse procedures. This phenomenon renders the doper various issues, with the most common being their health and social relationship impairment. In consideration of adaptive solutions, I confine that there are effective remedies allocating the aforementioned issues as well as the drug abuser consciousness.
When it comes to the drawbacks of constant misuse of drugs, it is widely known that these addictive substances can cause damages to dopers’ health, and furthermore their surrounding communities and society. To specify, one of the most typical outcomes of long-term drug abuse is uncontrollable weight gain, higher blood pressure, chronic problems with immune system and cardiovascular issues due to the eating disorder caused mainly by the effects of alcohol and toxic substances included. This can not only lead to depression, which gradually drains both mental and physical health, but also be the main driver of aggressive behaviours and attitude when they face up with any inquiries about their substance use. The dopehead may refuse any social activities and is self-isolated from families and social groups, and in many cases, severe drug victims commit criminal wrongdoings such as robbery, trafficking, gambling and even homicide. Moreover, they would continue to infringe whilst knowing that it is morally wrong.
Many treatments and therapeutic methods are proven effective, and I believe that two of which must be psychotherapies and psychosocial support. Firstly, the former method includes cognitive behavioral and acceptance therapy, which is utilized to navigate dopers’ relationships with their thoughts through supervising their thinking and behaviours that maintain the addiction. This method can not only improve their cognitive development after being badly damaged by drug abuse but also ultimately prevent the risk of relapsing. Second, it is operating meetings for dopers to gather with their families and friends that support their recovery progress, not to mention encourage them to give up on substances and additives, which pave the way for enhancing their future prospects and job performances.
In short, there are two main ramifications of abusing drugs namely health erosion and spoiled lifestyle and social relationships. Beside, psycho-intensive therapy and social activity could be ultimate approaches to allocate the aforementioned problems, associating with further risk in the future regarding life and work quality.
