Majority of countries are prioritizing tourism in their economy in order to improve overall appearance. Although increase in focus on tourism sphere can be seen under a negative light, it is largely change for the better.
It is necessary to acknowledge some possible negatives connected to importance of tourism in economy. Firstly, effects on environment seem detrimental. When visitors flow to the country it is almost impossible to control their actions which eventually lead to pollution, especially in natural places. It particularly can be observed in touristic areas that are located near to the beach such as Florida bay. Also, in cities number of tourists may impact volume of traffic. As servicing will develop at the same time with tourism local people also start to move into there to have better revenue. As a consequence, those places will get more overcrowded creating undesirable condition to live and travel.
However, I firmly believe that, development of tourism is mostly advantageous. Firstly, tourism is practical way for advancement in economy. Agriculture or industrial spheres are not as effective tourism, as they tent to damage environment as well as creating difficulties for employees. A reverse can be true for tourism industry. In other words, it is less demanding and create better financial opportunities. Also, tourism affects social life positively. There will be better servicing not only for visitors but also local people since it is focused more to create better opportunities for newcomers. For this reason, nowadays many countries that are rich for natural resources are doing their best to make most of them by building new touristic areas, mostly unique and different buildings. Because in a long-term it can supply the whole country while it is quite easy to reach the end of mineral recourses entailing oil, gas and others.
In conclusion, despite disadvantages of tourism industry for environment and atmosphere in the cities, I see as a positive trend since it can be the best alternative for all kind of industries because of several benefits
