In my opinion, I largely agree that the internet has replaced newspapers as the primary source of news for most people.

In other words, urgent events occurring around the world can attract public attention within a very short period of time. In addition, individuals are more likely to search for news on the internet because it is available at any moment. For example, many people today spend a significant amount of time on their mobile phones, which makes it convenient for them to read and share the latest news with their closest friends.
Another point to consider is that the younger generation has grown up using the internet in almost every aspect of daily life. It is also possible to say that after the COVID-19 pandemic, societies became more dependent on digital platforms for information and communication. Moreover, online news allows readers to interact with content through social media by leaving comments or expressing opinions instantly. For instance, platforms such as X have millions of active users, and their algorithms promote trending posts that receive a high number of comments and reposts, encouraging further engagement.
In conclusion, despite the existence of different opinions, I believe that the internet has become far more influential than newspapers in the modern world. Although printed newspapers may still be preferred by a limited group of readers, digital media is clearly more suitable for contemporary lifestyles. However, users should remain cautious about misinformation and fake accounts, as these can have negative effects on society.
