Nowadays, the number of young people exceeds the number of older people in many countries. Although this phenomenon has disadvantages, its benefits overshadow them.
On the one hand, the older generation has several roles in society, therefore, including relatively few numbers of older people has several drawbacks. Of course, older people have better experience and worldview about historical events, traditional customs and lifestyle. For this reason, they can inoculate cultural heritage to the younger generation. For example, in many countries, there are several programs that invite professors or older people who have a wide worldview in order to inform young people about historical and scientific facts. As these events are essential to preserve cultural identity, countries attach great importance to them.
On the other hand, I think that its advantages surpass the drawbacks of this trend. Firstly, as young people are more knowledgeable about contemporary technologies, they can develop new automatic systems and solve unanswered questions better than the older generation. As a result, they can contribute to solve global issues and assist people with their invention. Secondly, as young people have better physical abilities than the older, they contribute to society in a better way. For example, nowadays, young activists organize events or meetings which are related to science, online games, or other social topics and online communities. In this way, they can increase the well-being of people that participate in these events, avoid negative consequences of environmental issues, and improve their communication skills.
In summary, it seems to me that the advantages of including a relatively large number of young adults surpass its drawbacks. It offers several future opportunities for both countries and society.
