Band 5: Caring for children is important in any society. All parents should be required to take childcare courses. To what extent do you agree or disagree? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Every parents with children have to be involved in mandatory training courses since taking care of children is fundamental in any society. Training lessons are good for parents to prepare themselves in nurturing their children. However, from my perspective the lessons should not be made mandatory.

On one hand, a lesson about taking care of children is essential for parents to prepare themselves. Basic training such as maintaining children’s emotion or how to make nutritious foods for children are essential for children’s growth. Nurturing children is a serious issue and every parents have to follow the suggestion from children experts.

On the other hand, it requires a great length of time. Parents have to spare their time to join the courses despite their busy time. Moreover, it will be more challenging for single parents since they often have to search for a day care. Furthermore, nowadays training lessons about children are also made available online which make all of the lessons more accessible. Consequently, the training session will not be as much as effective as expected.

In conclusion, a lesson about taking care of children is essential but the lesson should not be made mandatory due to it requires a great length of time the training session will not be effective.
