In recent years, there is a view that children should spend most of their time outdoors rather than staying indoors. Although, some individuals believe children should spend their time mainly indoors, doing their homeworks and house chores, I strongly believe that children should be encouraged to stay outdoors, doing some exercises, playing some games with their friends and make new friends at the same time, as it really helps them to be both physically and mentally healthy and also be more friendly and socially improved.
One major reason why children must spend a lot of their time outdoors is improvement in their physical and mental health. Nowadays, most of the youth spend their leisure time by playing digital devices, like smartphone, computer and aslo laptop, so that they must spend quality of their time being otdoors. As it helps them to reduce obesity and health problems caused by spending most of their time by looking at screen, moreover they may acquire some new hobbies, like running, cycling and playimg different kinds of sports. For example, in my country most of the youth spend a lot of their time being outdoors, which can really helps them to stay active and healthy playing with their friends and riding a bicycle with the neighbour children.
Another important factor contributing to this issue is improvement in their social skills. As many children stay outdoors most of their time, they must have some really loyal and best friends of them. And thinking that, the outdoor environment can really encourage them to interact with other children and be socially enhanced. In addition, it also helps them to learn teamwork, sharing with others and also communicate better. Honestly, it can be useful and beneficial for their future and carreer journey. For example, in Japan children learn to be socially developed and ready to be in team, and besides to share with others in the early ages, which can really be handy for them.
In conclusion, although being indoors for children is really useful in some ways, I strongly believe that spending quality of their time outdoors is more beneficial, helping them to be healthy, be in good shape and also impovement in social skills.
