Although it is sometimes believed that paid work is a useful experience for children, other people think that it can have detrimental effects. Paid work allows children to achieve financial independence and acquire practical skills, but there are also drawbacks to be taken into account.

Children are considered to work regularly due to **a salary boosting factor**. In other words, if children are provided with satisfying jobs, they could cover their expenses. A child, for instance, no longer needs to depend on the family budget as long as working in an appropriate workplace. Another possible advantage to consider is that the practical skills are experienced by working consistently, which are beneficial for children’s futures. Workplaces offer to their young employees benefit from other workers’ experiences, who have higher statuses. As a result, acquiring these skills and significant knowledge in early times positively impacts children’s future career prospects.

Turning to disadvantages, one negative aspect is that the obligation of working does not enable younger generation live their childhood. Children can not make more time for the social activities owning to tough work schedules. For example, jobs with 9-to-5 working hours do not give more free time to children to take part in some enjoyable activities. Secondly, physical jobs are more likely to lead to health issues. This means that poor conditions in workplaces and non-skill jobs put too much stress on children’s physiques, which will make them suffer from health problems in the early ages.

In conclusion, while children can benefit from the convenient jobs, some of them also causes to the health issues and keeping touch in the peers in a negative way. It, therefore, should not be prioritized to employ young adults.
