I highly agree with the statement that children who are brought up in poor families are better prepared to deal with real-life problems as compared to those brought up in rich families.
Children fed with a silver spoon tend to always view the world as their comfort bubble and hardly get to face worldly problems, unlike kids who since birth, have seen their elders struggling for even a proper three-time meal. Rich kids have a habit of getting things done with a single snap of fingers because money plays a major role in today’s world. There is barely anything left in the world that money cannot buy which in turn proves to be a gigantic issue for families with less earnings.
Kids in poor families get acquainted with the harsh realities of life at a very young age which matures them faster with a mentality of working hard at every stage to sustain in this world. For instance, buying expensive clothes, traveling around, dining at a 5-star restaurant, and even top-class education, would seem like a luxury to them. They have a habit of pushing themselves every day to cope with the standards of living and strive hard to fulfill their aspirations.
However, things can go both ways for a rich kid to be aware of the daily challenges while being economical and considerate toward helping the poor and for a poor kid to get involved in unnecessary stuff without realizing the negative future impacts. In general, one would rather walk on a well-constructed colorful path than one with potholes and eggshells on every step to success.
In conclusion, it is extremely rare for a rich child to go through any of the hardships that a lower-class child faces daily, and to realize that everything cannot be served on a platter.
