It is widely believed that the biggest concern we experience nowadays is climate change. I fully agree with this because it affects not only global economy but also human health problems.
To begin with, climate change causes serious economic problems to some extent. Extreme weather conditions such as floods, storms, and wildfires can destroy a number of homes, farms, as well as infrastructure, leading to billions of repair costs. Moreover, the decline in food production due to drought will be a major concern for millions of people. For example, crops fail due to unpredictable weathers which increases food prices, and causes economic stress, especially in developing countries.
Moreover, climate change has a direct impact on human health. It can be said that rising temperatures and increasing air pollution can lead to more diseases especially asthma, hear stroke, etc. These health issues place a growing burden on healthcare systems, and reduce well-being of populations around the world.
In conclusion, I hold a strong belief that today, climate change is the most critical problem to the world because of the reduction of demand on food, and serious health problems in human as well as the vulnerability of economic situations worldwide, and the rise of air pollution.
