It has been seen that climate change is becoming a major global concern for nowadays. There are many reasons why climate is changing and how it creates threat to humanity. This essay will discuss the problems that are associated with climate and how it is threatening the world as well as proposed effective solutions. However, I believe that individuals, government, and international bodies should take necessary steps to mitigate this problem.
The main reason for climate change is human activity, as they burn fossil fuels for energy which releases massive amounts of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide into the atmosphere, therefore, the heat is increasing, and it is warming the planet. In addition, human activity hampers the natural carbon ecosystem badly because they are releasing vast amount of carbon into the atmosphere through deforestation and cement production which increases the CO2 level faster than natural carbon production. As a result, the global warming is rising and it leads to climate change, and this climate change effects such as melting ice glaciers, rising sea level, and troubling to ecosystem of wildlife. Climate change causes extreme weather circumstances such as flood, draught, cyclones, tsunami etc. For example, due to excessive result of climate change, Bangladesh often faces 1 or 2 cyclones every year and these cyclones damages a lot to this country.
There are many ways to solve this problem, but the solution must be executed from 3 diverse levels such as individuals, government, and international levels. To begin with, from the individual level, each person in this world should plant trees, diminishing the use of air conditioning, refrigeration and other electric tools that release greenhouse gases. It slows down the climate change process as well as the substantial improvement in the environment. Secondly, the government should take necessary steps by giving regulations to the industries who emits carbon dioxide and other harmful gases and support new industries and startups that comes up with eco friendly technologies. They also install renewable energy to support the environment. Besides they also educate every child about environment and upcoming beautiful world. Hence it will help countries to build a new nation who prioritize sustainable development.
Finally, the international level’s role is very crucial, as they fix laws and rules that should obey by every country, penalize the biggest polluters, and invest more funds in research and development of the environment. This approach will help them to control such activity of humans as well as it helps them to develop climate conditions. This supports my view because I think no individual body can change the situation of environment, we humans are responsible for climate crisis, and everyone needs to take steps to solve this fundamental problem.
Summing up, although humans are only responsible for climate change, they have the ability to change the situation. I believe that, educating to every humans about environment can create a positive impact on the society and they feel responsible for our mother nature. Therefore, the carbon emissions, greenhouses gas will reduce and we are able to solve this severe crisis.
