In recent times, due to the development of both human needs and technology, goods exchange has become a universal tendency. From my point of view, I strongly believe that these kinds of trade have both advantages and disadvantages on society.
On the one hand, it is a good chance to promote the international integration process. First of all, people may easily widen their horizons by accessing different cultures. For instance, consumers would be provided not only a variety of products but also history of formation and development by websites of famous fashion brands such as Gucci, Chanel, etc. Secondly, expansion of trade can be beneficial for businesses and consumers. Because of marketing strategies, a large number of worldwide customers would be attracted; therefore, it is an increased revenue for their economy. Similarly, the more available products are, the more satisfied consumers get.
On the other hand, this trend also has negative impacts on society. The authentic businesses may have the risk of being copyrighted. Particularly, due to popularity, numerous items face forgery. As a result, there is a high rate of buying fake goods and wasting money for low quality ones. Furthermore, the manufacture of plenty of commodities can lead to environmental degradation. For example, plastic is one of the main resources in some fields; therefore, climate change becomes more serious because of a large amount of emissions created by this material.
In conclusion, bridging the nations gap by trade cooperation is a should-do idea to boost the relationship between countries; however, governments as well as citizens around the world ought to make an effort to restrict a number of unworthy influences.
